Why does my CD not burn?

Check to make sure that the CD you are using is a FocusMicro formatted disc. Ensure that you wait before inserting the CD until prompted by the backup utility.

Why am I unable to burn files to CD from the B or C server?

The most common cause of this problem is due to a drive mapping issue. Here are the steps to take in order to correct this issue:
-Run the map file located in the D:\VideoBank directory.
-Check the IP address on the servers.
-Make sure the network cables are connected properly.
-Power down the servers, unplug the router for 10 seconds, then reconnect the router. Reboot the servers beginning with A. Wait until the cameras appear before rebooting server B. Follow these steps for the remaining servers.

Why does one of my drives say "Boot Failure" when I try to access it?

This is caused by the drive not being connected properly. Power down the server and unlock the hard drive with the error using the black handled key. Pull the drive out of the slot a few inches and, using some force, seat it back into the slot. Lock the drive with the key and restart the server.

Why does one of the screens in VideoBank say "Video Lost"?

This can be caused by several issues:
-If there is no camera on that port then it should say "Video Lost."
-The camera cable may be disconnected.
-The camera may be non-functional.
-The camera may have lost power.

Why is the camera screen black, but the camera name and ID still appear in the yellow box in the corner of the camera screen?

The most common reason for this is due to a faulty connector. (The next steps apply to VideoBank 7.05 users.) If this does not solve the issue, then log into VideoBank as an Supervisor. Stop the camera monitoring and Network connections. In the configure menu navigate to "Video Attributes," and click on "AGC." In the window that pops-up click on "Auto." Once it completes, click on "Apply."

Why do I get a "Boot Failure" message with my new system?

This issue is due to the hard drive not being properly installed. Make sure that the server is powered off. Insert the hard drive, with some force, into the slot directly below the CD drive. Once the drive is in place, use the black handled key to lock the drive. Power on the server.
